Leveraging lightweight autonomous agents, the feature interprets structural patterns, attribute semantics, and lineage metadata to produce concise, human‑readable descriptions. The system analyzes schema structures and dataset context to create clear, business‑friendly explanations that enhance data comprehension across both technical and non‑technical teams.

Viewing Descriptions in the Metadata Catalog
The Metadata Dashboard allows you to view the AI‑generated dataset descriptions, helping you understand the purpose and context of each entity and its attributes.
To view the AI‑led descriptions:
- Log in to your LeapLogic Metadata Catalog account.
- In the left navigation pane, select Metadata > Dashboard.
- Search for the required repository, dataset, table, or description in the Search Metadata panel.
- The Search Results display relevant entities, and each table card shows the table name along with its AI-generated description.
- Click a table card—for example, customers—to open the Entity Details page.
- This navigates you to the Entity Details page, where you can view:
- Entity-level description and related metadata.
- In the Attributes tab, you can view comments for each attribute.
