Key Features of Pipeline

This topic explains the key features and the components available in the pipeline, which helps you design and execute the pipeline.

Double-click on the stage to view the configuration page of the selected stage.

In addition to these features, you can also perform various other functions that enhance the UI experience. The table below explains the features and their functions, which helps to design and execute the pipeline with ease.

New Pipeline		To open a new design workspace to design a pipeline.	File > New Pipeline
Save		To save the pipeline.	File > Save
Open		To open the pipeline listing page to open an existing pipeline.	File > Open
Schedule		To schedule your workflow at a particular frequency for a particular time interval.	File > Schedule
Export		To export the pipeline report	File > Export
Undo		To reverse a transaction/ action	Edit > Undo
Redo		To restore the transaction/ action that was previously undone using Undo	Edit > Redo
History		To view the past transaction or action.	Edit > History
Show/Hide panel		To show/ hide History, Undo, and Redo options in the design workspace panel.	Edit > Show/Hide Panel
Edit Design		To edit the designed pipeline.	Click More Actions on the preferred pipeline card from the pipeline listing page (Batch Transformation > Pipeline from the left navigation pane) and then Edit Design.

Apart from these features, you can also perform various actions, like:

Save
Validate
Execute

Save

This feature is used to save your pipeline. To perform this action, click on the top right corner of the pipeline design page, and then you can name your pipeline however you like and click Save.

Validate

This feature is used to validate the pipeline. Click on the top right corner of the pipeline design page to validate the pipeline. If the pipeline is validated successfully, the system displays an alerting snackbar pop-up to notify the success message.

Execute

This feature is used to execute the pipeline. Click on the top right corner of the pipeline design page to execute the pipeline, and then the system displays an alerting snackbar pop-up to notify the success message.

Clicking (Execute icon) navigates you to the listing page which shows your pipeline status.

The below table depicts the available execution status and its description.

Status	Description
Not executed	The pipeline is created and saved.
Running	A request to perform the task has been received and it is in processing.
Failed	The pipeline has failed.
Stopped	To stop the execution instance of the pipeline. To do so, follow any of the steps below: Open your preferred pipeline with status Running, click on the top right corner of the Executions page, and then select Stop. Click on the preferred pipeline card with status Running from the pipeline listing page (Batch Transformation > Pipeline from the left navigation pane) and then select Stop.
Killed	To kill the execution instance of the pipeline. To do so, follow any of the steps below: Open your preferred pipeline with status Running, click on the execution page, and then select . Open your preferred pipeline with status Running, click on the top right corner of the Executions page and then select Kill. Click on the preferred pipeline card with status Running from the pipeline listing page (Batch Transformation > Pipeline from the left navigation pane) and then select Kill.
Success	The pipeline has been executed successfully.
Pause	To pause the execution instance of the pipeline. To do so, follow any of the steps below: Open your preferred pipeline with status Running from the pipeline listing page and then click on the top right corner of the Executions Page. Click on the preferred pipeline card with status Running from the pipeline listing page (Batch Transformation > Pipeline from the left navigation pane) and then select Pause.
