Introduction

Alteryx Workflow Extraction

LeapLogic requires Alteryx workflows in the .yxmd or .yxzp (which can contain .yxmc and external files) format to perform an assessment. Follow the below given steps to achieve the same. It can be done using two different options or methods as described below.

Option-1

Use this to export Alteryx workflows.

Open Alteryx

Open the job that you want to export. If it is saved on your local machine, browse and open it from there or else if it is on a server then Click File > Open workflow > Add New Server

When your job is opened, it will look something like this.

Click on File > Save as > Browse

Save the file on your local machine.

Option-2 (Alternative)

Alternatively, you can also use this option to export your Alteryx workflows.

Open Options > Export Workflow

Click Save.

Once done, you’ll see a success message. Click OK.

Notes:

To perform a bulk export, you need to have Admin rights. Use Alteryx Gallery to export all the workflows in a single package.
The product currently supports and assesses .yxmd, .yxzp (may include .yxmc files as well) file formats. Follow the steps given in this document to export the files in the required file formats.
