Troubleshooting

LeapLogic publishes detailed logs for reference. In case of any errors or hindrances in the deployment process, you can refer to them and move forward. A few instances are cited with links to detailed logs for various modules.

Scenario	Resolution	Detailed Logs
Unable to login with the given credentials	Check if both the GV services are running and registered on the Eureka server	If you are still unable to resolve it, refer to detailed logs at the location: IDW_HOME/application/governance/logs/gv-sso.log
Unable to create an assessment	Check if the assessment service is running and registered on the Eureka server	If you are still unable to resolve it, refer to detailed logs at the location: IDW_HOME/application/assessment/logs/
Unable to execute a pipeline	Check if the pipeline service is running and registered on the Eureka server	If you are still unable to resolve it, refer to detailed logs at the location: IDW_HOME/application/turin-pipeline/logs/
Unable to create a data source	Check if the metadata REST service is running and registered on the Eureka server	If you are still unable to resolve it, refer to detailed logs at the location: IDW_HOME/application/metadata/logs/md-rest-service-startup.log

Note:

One way to connect with the source is through establishing a connection with the server instance and database. Another way of doing this is to register DDLs as a data source. For the latter one, in the case of very large DDLs, increase the memory heap size of the service application/workload-migration/wm-msa-service.sh from the “Xmx” parameter to “Xmx2g”, and application/metadata/start-server.sh from “Xmx” parameter to “Xmx4g”
